Workshops 

SECTA’s workshops are designed to be bespoke or generic in programming and delivery to suit the needs and wider aspirations of individuals, organisations, groups and communities.

 

DRAMA: Workshops, theatre and role-play, are all designed to address current and topical issues including: peer pressure, bullying, identity, diversity, faith, mental health, exclusion, sexual health, racism, drugs, gangs, alcohol, black history, and English as an Additional Language.

 

DANCE: Hip-hop, street dance, break dance, contemporary, tap, ballet, ballroom, line dancing, Capoeira and African.

 

ART AND DESIGN: Stained glass, clay making, graffiti and mural design, T-shirt design and printing, jewellery making, arts and crafts.

 

MUSIC: African drumming, singing and vocal training, learning various musical instruments, DJ-ing, rapping, and music production.

 

CREATIVE WRITING: Poetry, lyrics, stories used for recreational purposes, sharing life experiences, and to improve basic literacy skills.

 

DIGITAL ART: Film, Photography, Animation and Multi-Media projects enabling the nurturing of creative and digital technology skills.

 

SECTA People

All SECTA’s people are skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic to work with you. Our artists and creative practitioners come highly recommended; and of course, have enhanced DBS (new CRB’s) clearance, up to date training in Child Protection, Safeguarding and Health & Safety issues.
